The objects and reasons of this Bill are to amend Chapter 538 of the Laws of Malta which amendments aim to achieve the better streamlining of the counselling profession which envisage, amongst other things, the recognition of counselling trainees. Moreover the amendment will provide a clearer picture of what level of education and training is expected by practitioners at the various levels.
