Objects and Reasons
The objects and reasons of this Bill are to amend the Consumer Affairs Act, Cap. 378, and other subsidiary legislation to increase the competence of the Consumer Claims Tribunal thereby ensuring that this efficient and effective remedy is available for the majority of consumer complaints.
