Objects and Reasons
The objects and reasons of this Bill are to carry out the necessary amendments to the Authority for Transport in Malta Act (Cap. 499) in order for such Act to align with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and practices as well as to provide the Civil Aviation Directorate with the necessary powers in order to fulfil and follow such standards and practices.
