The objects and reasons of this Bill are to further regulate the exclusive economic zone areas or parts thereof, environment protection areas and for other ancillary matters thereto; to extend applicability of certain laws and jurisdictional rights to the waters beyond the territorial waters in accordance with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
