Objects and Reasons

The Bill contains amendments to provisions of the Civil Code relating to the grounds for which separation from bed and board may be sought, the surname of an illegitimate child, adoption, acceptance of an inheritance devolving to a minor, wills unica charta, hypothecs created in a marriage contract, and antichresis; the Bill also introduces new provisions whereby the emphyteuta is given the option to redeem the ground-rent in perpetual emphyteusis.
