The objects and reasons of this Bill are to make provision for the establishment of the exclusive economic zone or parts thereof, environment protection areas and for other ancillary matters thereto; to extend jurisdictional rights for the water column beyond the Territorial Waters in accordance with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
