The Object of this Bill is mainly to regulate the procedure in the keeping of Public Registry records, to make provisions empowering the Director of the Public Registry to correct errors in the registration of any note, without reference to the Court of Revision of Notarial Acts, and to empower the Minister to make regulations providing for the replacement of damaged or lost records and for the computerization and microfilming of records in the Public Registry.
