PR170185 - High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana pays farewell call on Speaker Anġlu Farrugia

This morning the High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana Kenneth Enos Kofi Tachie paid a farewell call on Speaker Anġlu Farrugia.
Speaker Farrugia expressed his appreciation for the High Commissioner’s efforts during his tenure in office to enhance relations between Malta and Ghana, notably by the signing of a MoU on the establishment of a Technical Joint Commission in September 2014, which Commission met in Malta in September 2015.
Reference was made to the visit to Malta in November 2015 by the then President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama in order to participate in the CHOGM 2015.
Cooperation at parliamentary level also featured in the discussion between the two dignitaries.
Minister at the High Commission of the Republic of Ghana Samuel Jojo Effah-Broni was also present for the meeting.
