Objects and Reasons
The objects and reasons of this Bill are to provide a legal basis for the strengthening of the structural, licensing and enforcement setup of the Building and Construction Authority, to establish the Building and Construction Consultative Council, and to make other incidental or consequential amendments to the Building and Construction Authority Act (Cap. 623), the Development Planning Act (Cap. 552) and the Code of Police Laws (Cap. 10).
