Objects and Reasons
The object of the Bill is to empower the Government to raise loans under the Local Loans (Registered Stock and Securities) Ordinance, 1959, in order to repay a previous loan raised by the Government under any enactment, not only when it is necessary to do so but also when it is convenient to repay such other loan.
