Objects and Reasons
The object of this Bill:
-is to adjust, wherever possible, the registration tax rates on motor vehicles in such a way that with the introduction of the Value Added Tax, the selling price to the consumer will not be affected; and
- to include the VERA code numbers and all types of motor vehicles classified within Chapter 87 of the Customs Tariff.
