The objects and reasons of this Bill are to provide the necessary amendments to the Social Work Profession Act (Cap. 468) in order to address the declining number of social workers operating in the various social welfare services areas by widening the requisites to obtain a warrant to practice as a social worker to include those persons who obtained their qualifications from a higher education institution duly licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority
